well our group went again saturday and i proudly removed two more form the population for the pot...we had several good runs and took four in all...i think i am gonna get a pup for next year... the guys i hunt with are gonna breed a pair of their dogs and i am thinking about getting one of their pups...is it better to get a male or female for the long run?? i have heard female but the dogs we are hunting with do a great job and two of them are pups from the same parents both are males and i havent seen $500 dogs run as good and hard and true as these two do...they paid $50 each when they got them two...i would like to get on e that is started but would also like to have the chance to train my own....i guess i will see what kind of time i get to mess with it...
